Question
I have a son in the Marines who is stationed in Iraq. He has had some problems before leaving to go oversees and I need to find a Chaplain to discuss this issue with, can you help?  I have tried to go on line to find someone but can't get an e-mail address.  thank you , Andrea

Answer
Andrea:

His unit should have a chaplain assigned.  If he is on Active Duty, the Marine Corps Base he is assigned to will be the place to start, all of them have websites.  If he is a reservist, start with the 1stSgt of his unit and work up from there.

If he is already in Iraq, try his units website to see which command they are working under.  Navy chaplains are assigned to the larger commands, and go unit to unit from there.  If you send me his unit info, and where he was stationed before going overseas, I may be able to locate the Chaplain for you.

Best Regards,
Sgt G

Expertise

Questions relating to US Marine Corps; rank, awards, uniforms, career choices. I can also help people spot and expose fakes (people pretending to be Marines or have awards they didn`t earn). Considering the Marines as a career? Or another branch, like the Air National Guard? Drop me a line. HOWever..know that I am NOT a recruiter. I can offer my expert opinion and advice, but can't (and won't) over rule what a recruiter says, they are the 'on duty' expert.
