Question
Can you get your Associates degree and still be qualified for a commission in the U.S Army?

Answer
Dear Jacob --

Yes, you can earn an Army commission through Officer Candidate School (OCS) without a Bachelor's degree.  However, you will need your Bachelor's degree, to be qualified for later promotion to major.

An Associate's degree earns you quality points when you enlist, and can guarantee you a slot at OCS after you complete basic training, if your performance in basic training shows sufficient leadership potential, and physical and mental capabiliities.

If you want an OCS spot, ensure that option is guaranteed, in writing, in the enlistment packet you sign.  Do not sign a packet that does not include all the restrictions and options you desire.  You can only hold the Army to commitments your recruiter gives you in writing.  Otherwise you have no recourse once you are in the service.

Best of luck to you!
