I am in the army and my girlfreind is in the Air Force were both stationed at Fort Meade MD. we are thinking of marriage but dont know if we will be able to stay together when our time is done here. like if i will go to air force bases or she will come to army bases. she is intel and im a supply guy for the army. And what kind of benefits will we get like bah and all that?

There are no provision that either service will make to keep you two together. If you were both in the same service, there is. My suggestion is that one of you leave the military or that she go into Army intel. Thats a lifestyle change that she will have to be comfortable with being in the Air Force. Unfortunately the mixing of the two services does not work out usually. eventually you will be sent in different directions. Be prepared or make the changes when you can.

I have spent the past 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, 3 years was assigned as an Enlisted Accessions Recruiter. I have been deployed various times to several locations. If it is a career in the military you are looking for or thinking about I most likely have the answer. If you are planning on joining the military, your number 1 decision factor in making this kind of move is that you need to be more concerned about serving your country than your country serving you!! All the benefits are the best that you can find. Education is at a premium right now and its the most rewarding thing that you can do. If I dont answer right away probably means that I am busy, but have patience, I will get to you.
