My boyfriend is currently stationed in Germany and I am planning on visiting in December and we want to get married, is it possible for us to get married on base there?
Yes, it's possible, but it's not quick, and it's not easy.
Each country has it's own procedures. A marriage on-base, overseas must meet the requirements of the particular laws in that particular country, then the marriage has to be registered at the U.S. Embassy.
My initial advice would be that it would be a whole lot less complicated for you two to get married in the states. However, if you have your heart set on going through 17 times as much time and paperwork, it's possible to get married overseas. He can visit his local Chaplain, who can give him the step-by-step for the procedures in the country he's stationed in.
