Question
I am 2 weeks away from terminal leave, was on stop-loss.  Yesterday I did my last airborne operation and tore my right meniscus.  Can I still get out with that and the military not hold me back due to my injury.  I already have the injury logged in my medical records and called the doctors offices in my area.  They take the military insurance which I will still have for 60days(terminal leave), and still can get my MRI done and take it to the VA to continue medical treatment and finish my claim for that condition and other conditions.  can you please answer  back thank you
sincerely Spc Ascencio

Answer
Hi Ignacio,

I wish I could give you an exact answer, but it's going to be up to your command.

In short, yes, your command can delay your separation because of military reasons. Whether or not they will do so, I can't answer.

Hope this helps!
