QuestionI am 14, almost in High school, and I am very interested in having a career in
the Air Force. I will go into ROTC, and yes the school I'm going to has the Air
Force unit. I want to know what classes I should take during High school. And
if you can I want to know what classes Ishould take in college.
AnswerDear Cody --
Take the college preparation track in high school. Ensure you take your required math, science, and English grammar and writing courses. You will do best in the Air Force, if you are comfortable with math and science, and can express yourself well in writing and speaking.
The other courses you take are important only to ensure you graduate from high school and are prepared to attend college. It is more important that you get good grades. So for your electives take course in things you like that you will enjoy studying. Try to average a high B or better, and take a sport that you like, or find another way to get and stay fit and strong. All the military service require fitness.
Congratulations on having a great goal and a plan to get there.
Best of luck to you.
