Question
I HAVE BEEN WONDERING IF I AM TOO OLD TO JOIN THE MILITARY.  I DO NOT HAVE A COLLEGE DEGREE AND I WILL BE 29 ON NEW YEARS DAY

Answer
Dear Kylisha -

You are not too old to join the military.  Due to our current need for recruits, the maximum age to enlist has increased.  If you qualify, you are even eligible to compete for officer candidate school after basic training.  You will be required to get a college degree on your own time, if you accept a commission and desire to earn promotion to captain and beyond.

However, there is no requirement for a college degree for many enlisted specialties in the entry level ranks.  You must still pass an aptitude test, a health physical, and a physical fitness test in order to enlist.

Best of luck to you.
