Question
I was recently discharged from the navy for "Homosexual Conduct," with an re-4 reenlistment code. I'm not a homosexual, just made a mistake. Is there any way I can reenlist?
Hi Joseph,
An RE Code of "4" generally means one cannot reenlist into any of the Military services.
Unless you can show that the discharge was issued in error (ie, you didn't actually engage in homosexual conduct), your chances of getting your RE Code changes are small.
