Question
I was in the Marine Corps from 2003-2007 and I complete my active duty with an Honorable discharge and a code of RE-1A. I joined the Army the day after my discharge. The Army fitness test is a challenge for me and they're talking about separation. If they separate me from the Army for failing my fitness test twice, can I join the Marine Corps immediately afterwards? I'm 24, fit, and I passed all of my Marine Corps fitness tests with flying colors, but the Army one is different and it's not going well for me.

It will depend on what kind of discharge you receive and what your reenlistment code is on discharge. If you are discharged with anything other than an "RE-1A", it's going to be difficult to reenlist into any other branch. I'd suggest working with someone to pass your army PFT test, because if you are separated for failing to complete army physical requirements, it's unlikely any other service will reenlist you.

Did a hitch in the Army reserves as an 11B (Infantryman), 3 years. Finished out my career in the Air National Guard as a BioEnvironmental Engineer MOS 4B3X1, did that for a few years.
I"ve been collecting and selling Marine Corps and other military uniforms, medals, and field gear since I was 8 years old.
