The last week of april he called back and said i make a 50 on the test somebody make a mistake. i was scheduled to go to the Meps the 24th and 25th of May but at the last minute i was told my score was a 26 and i could not go. first i failed then was told i passed then told i failed again...and i don't know what to believe. i think something fishy is going on. i can't trust my recriuter. is there any phone number or someone i can talk to about this..?

Answer
Hi Kenisha,

I don't know of any number you can call, but it's not something I would worry about.  The Air Force requires a minimum score of 40 on the overall ASVAB Score.

Your recruiter can't do anything to "fudge" this.  Your score is recorded at MEPS.  Your recruiter can't do anything to change this.

So, if your recruiter is willing to send you to MEPS to process, that means he/she was informed that you have a qualifying score.  It's pretty much that simple, because he/she would not be allowed to send you for processing unless your score met the minimum qualifying criteria (for the Air Force, that's an minimum score of 40).

In short, this isn't something your recruiter could "make up."

Hope this helps!
