Question
Hi Violet, I am very glad to see sites such as this one exist! I am a private Caregiver for a Terminally Ill patient with a Brain Tumor. The family and I are beginning to see changes which I know are common for the type of Illness my client has. However, I am having a hard time finding information and resources which I may use to help the family have a better understanding and expectation of the changes that are happening and those which are still coming with their loved one. Hospice is involved, but really has not met with the family. I am seeing the patient show an increase in agitation, mood swings, some signs of combativeness, as well as paralysis on the right side. I can't seem to find easy references to utilize and help the family understand the progression. Can you recommend any resources?
Thank you so much,
Kim
Hospice is where angels gather and help ease the pain and worry for friends and family.

Answer
I am sorry it has taken so long to reply to this question. I hope hospice has met with the family, they can really provide all the guidance this family needs in this dificult time. Please do a search on terminal restlesness, he may be experiancing some of this.
