Question
Hi I am a 32 yr old and I have been off and on over several months with this Right Lower belly pain and have had vomiting to go along with it and I have been to my local ER a bunch of times for it with CT's xrays , blood work , etc All normal and I was wondering could it be a case of Chronic Appendicitis ?? that is causing me so much pain . thanks

Answer
Hi Diana,
I'm sorry that you are experiencing this trouble.
You write that you have been to the ER several times with this pain and that you have had several x-rays and blood tests.   In answer to your question; it is likely that the x-rays and blood tests would have revealed appendicitis if that were the cause of your symptoms.
Diagnosing abdominal problems can be difficult because of all the different organs in that region of the body and because of all the possible sources of pain.  Since the ER tests were all negative, I suggest that you visit your primary care physician and allow him/her to investigate this problem more thoroughly with various tests and exams.

I hope you find a solution very soon and that you feel better.
