Question
I teach a nurse aid class for a secondary school. In the state I live in we are only required to teach 75 hours as compared to 180 in many other states. I am looking for data to prove that increased education decreases nurse aide related errors such as HAI, falls, decubitis ulcers etc. The CDC has overall info but did not break it down per capita per state. What resources would you suggest. I would like to compare Texas to California and Maine. Thank you for your help.

Answer
WOW this is a great question, I commend you on this task. The only thing I can suggest is calling the nursing broad of the individual states. The other question I have for you is this? in your state 75 hours is the minimum, is there any reason your school cannon excel by exceeding the minimum requirements? you could even use that as a marketing tool. Good luck, I would love to hear if you succeed in this.
