Question
Hi,
I went and got some blood taken for a test at a clinic.

The nurse dropped her glove on the floor before picking it up to check my vein one last time.

The area she swabbed over was also not the area the needle was injected.

Should I be concerned and what should I be looking for?

Answer
I am sorry you had this experience. I would immediately notify the administration of the organization. If you develop any redness or pain in the area go to the emergency room and make sure you complete a report. Please be your own advocate with medical personnel. If you see anything that concerns you voice it IMMEDIATELY it does not matter who the person is, from the cleaning person to the doctor. Prevention is always better thatn cure.
