Expert: Violet Argo RN - 8/31/2007
QuestionI am a senior in high school, taking a health careers class at a technology center.I am a honor student and an officer in every group that I am involved in. But, before I jump into this career I would like to ask how stressful and difficult is the education part? Will I be able to stay focused and concentrate on my school work? I am great with people more than books though. Will my passion keep me going through the college years?
AnswerI am very pleased you have chosen nursing to be your career. The education is very stressful, but think about what you are learning, to save lives, to give comfort, to make a different. Yes I feel your passion will keep you going not only through school, but throughout your career.
