Question
Hi Violet,  I wrote you a few days ago, and have more questions please:) I am a male, and would like to get into nursing,..either lvn, lpn or that equivalent first. I will be starting a class this next week to be certified as a nurses aid, but would like to know if in some cases, there is a sponsor (hospital) that will actually pay part or all of ones schooling to be a lvn, or lpn. Also, how long does this take approximately? I live in central texas. I have heard some hospitals or nursing homes will pay for my schooling while I work as a nurses aid. I would like to find this out before I start the nurses aid certification class,..if possible:) Hope all is well with ya:)
I would truly appreciate it and have a great day:)

Answer
I am sorry it has taken so long to answer this question.  Yes many organizations will pay for an LPN course.  Also many goverment organizations will pay for these.  The course is usually about ten months.  You will have to call each of your local organizations and ask.
