i am male want to be a nurse. i am doing 2 year program in assosicat which i think called RN.
if i become a nurse do i would have to deal with pregenent women and other paitents dressing them taking them to bathroom and things like that which i really dont like at all. is there anything that you can do as a nurse, other then what i mentioned. thank you.

Answer
Dear Asif:

I am afraid I have to question why you want to be a nurse.  Some things that we do are not very likeable but we have to do it.  That is what the nurses do.

There are other fields of nursing one can enter where you do not have to do those things you mantioned but all require an experienced nurse so you would have to first, train to be a nurse and then work in a clinical setting for the experience.

You can become a nurse anethetist or work for a health care insurance company as a case manager.

Sincerely,

Mary Pat
