Question
Hi, I am 14 and want to become a wildlife photographer. I've been practicing for just over two years and own a decent camera. I have heard that it is by far the most difficult job (in photography)available. I was hoping you might know what's the best place to start off in the photographic industry.

Answer
Hi Martin,

Congratulations on being so sure of what you want at such a young age!  If wildlife photo is what you are interested in, stick with it.  Like most things in life, all aspects of photography can be difficult, but if you have the drive you can do it.  Research on the web wildlife/travel magazines like National Geographic.  Try to find a photography class that specializes in wildlife photography near you if you can.  Maybe your school has a photo class you can take to expand your knowledge and skills.  See if you can tag along with a wildlife photographer that lives near you.

Good luck!
