Question
hi. I notice that all you are US based.

this question is about storybook wedding albums (Photobooks) (but in the UK).

I was hoping for an opinion on this company that I have found. (probably you have never heard of them, but maybe you can see if they seem reputable (from their website and prices etc) becausue you would probably have a better eye for these sorts of things.

The company is:  http://www.photoproductions.com

their prices are much cheaper than graphi so I am keen to find out more.

(they said that they are available only in the UK at the moment and will do international next year).

here is their prices page: http://photoproductions.com/options_and_prices.html

- its in english pounds.
for your info:

£175 = 279(USD)
£315 = 503(USD)
=======================

thanks,
edward rice

(i'm happy to call them and find out more info (if you had any particular questions that I should be asking them)

Answer
It does seem to be rather high-priced but a lot would depend on how they print the pages of the books and the finished appearance of the books. Bear in mind that you would have to charge quite a bit more for your time, materials, a fair return for your equipment, transportation to and from the event, living expenses, clothing costs, etc. All this must be in your mind when you are quoting prices. It is probably a nice professional service, you could probably do much the same with a standard wedding album and printing the pictures you would put into it. This is the modern equivalent of the photo-lab which we used when there was only film cameras. Shoot, I can remember shooting a wedding using a 4 X 5 Speed Graphic camera. Then I went with the roll film, 120-220, cameras, and now I'm shooting only digitally. Best of luck to you, remember that I'm half a world away from them as are you. It kind of makes me anxious to have a service which provides me with my products that far away from me. Wishing you all the success you want. Thanks for asking, wish I could help more.
