Do you need to go to college to be a photographer? If so, how many years would be necessary?

Answer
Depends... What kind of photography are you interested in?  Long story short, I would say that you should go to college.  It certainly will help in job placement and give you a chance to work with your fellow students.  Years in school really depends on what kind of photography you end up interested in.
