Question
Hi Tricia, my brother was stopped by a pothographer and ask him if he was interested in modeling and gave him his businees card. I would like to know how do we know if it's a scam, what are the things my brother should be aware of?

Answer
Hi Elsa,

You should look up the photographer on the internet and see if they are real.  Check out his work, see if he does this for a living.  Ask him to provide you with references that you can call.   If they tell you you have to pay a bunch of money for prints or a portfolio (which does cost money) be wary.  Most of the time when photographers approach people it is because they do think they might be a good model and would like to have them in their portfolio.  But you can never be too careful!

Hope this helps.
