Question
Hello,

I just have a question, Do you know of any methods of using a photo enlarger to enlarge a negative onto canvas. Do you need special light reactive paint etc...

It would have to be black and white as I only have a black and white enlarger. But if there is a way to do it in colour then that would be great if you told me, as if there is I would think about buying a colour enlarger.

I have been trying to find a way to do this for months and it sounds like your a real pro at this sort of thing!

Thanks!

Answer
Look on the WWW for a product which would put a liquid light-sensitive emulsion upon your canvas. You might also investigate whether you could find a paper which will simulate the canvas. I remember once I tried to do the sketching upon canvas so that I could paint a picture using the sketch as the basis. The problem was that the negative could only be lit for a short time because of the heat problem build-up. That's the cheap way of doing it.
You sound like you might be interested in the liquid emulsion method. It does have to be done in a darkroom.
If I can help further, let me know.
