Careers: Photography/Model Releases

Question
I hope you can help. I am a professional photographer and I use my clients images on my (unadvertised, only viewed by those people I direct to it) web site as examples of my work. They are not for sale and I am not profiting from them other than the images on my site perhaps drawing in new business. Do I need a model release to post my photos?
Thanks!!

Answer
Hi there,

You should always get model releases from your talent to protect you and your client.  That way, it is very clear to them that you will be using the images to promote yourself.

It is certainly the norm for photographers to use their previous work to promote themselves.  What type of work do you shoot?  Who is your end "client"?
