Question
Hi Erin
I have a Nikon D70 and recently purchased a Nikkor 50mm f1.4D lens and I bought it for the f stop for low lighting situations. My Nikon says it is compatable with F, D, and G lenses but it the manual camera setting, I can not manipulate the shutter speed and aperature as I wish! Do you know why this is? Or is there something that I  might be doing? A setting that I can change? Thanks!

Answer
Are you trying to use the aperture ring of are you using the dials on the readout... the maunal setting wont work by using the ring like it would on the old camera.  Make sure the ring is locked.  I hope this helps, any more info may help me give you a better answer.  Sorry for the delay.
