Question
I have 2 misdemenor drug charges, is there anywhere in the United States that I can work as a police officer? Please help me. I want to be a police officer with all my heart.

Answer
Mr. Bolla,

Thanks for the question.

It really depends on what police agency you apply for a job. All have different hiring standards and/or requirements.

It will probably be an uphill battle, but the truth is that probably 90% of police agencies would not consider you for employment.

I am sorry to give this type of news to you, but that's just the reality of it.

Good luck and best wishes!
