Question
I have recently been discharged from the military.  I was infantry and specialized in room clearing, training with AWG, CAG and the LA SWAT.  I have been deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq and employed my skills to the fullest.  Is there a way that can assist local SWAT and specialized police units?

Answer
Phillip:

There are private companies out there that help to train police units for that sort of thing.  You might try a search engine with the terms 'police training' or 'law enforcement SWAT training', or 'SWAT training', etc.

If you are considering joining a local agency, you sound like you have the qualifications many are seeking right now, but you will, like everyone, have to go through a police academy and work in patrol prior to becoming a trainer, etc.

You might also consider the federal gov't, there are openings all the time for 'training' officers.  Check www.usajobs.com and search using the term 'training'.
