Question
1.how much do you get payed weekly or monthly?.
2.how much time do you got to be in school to be a swat agent?.

Answer
Jairo,

Thanks for the question.

In Beaufort County, South Carolina, where I reside, the pay differs from police agency to police agency.

The starting salaries in Beaufort County, where there are 4 Municipal police departments and 1 County Sheriff's Department the pay ranges are:

Starting Pay:  26,000.00 to 41,000.00

and it goes up from there depending on education, bilingual abilities, and previous law enforcement experience.

All of the pay here locally is done bi-weekly.

As far as being a SWAT officer is concerned, more than likely you will need to be employed for a at least a year or two before you are eligible to try out for a SWAT position, and then there are other requirements besides the time frame.

Check out different police Web Sites to see all of the requirements for different police agencies.

There are some vast differences from agency to agency, and state to state.

Good luck and best wishes!
