Subject: Requirement Question
Question Is it possible to get a waiver on a 10 year old felony conviction, depending its nature and intensity? The Military accepted a waiver for me but during the process my wife got pregnat with are 4th child and they said i then had to many siblings to join.
Answer Trevor,
Thanks for the question.
It really depends on the state you reside in or want to become a police officer in. I would say that a majority will not accept a prior felony conviction, but do some research and check some of the different state requirements for becoming a police officer.
Good luck and best wishes!
