Question I am very interested about the Police but mostly SWAT I was wandering can you join SWAT in an america if you live in a different country as I live in northern ireland but want to be part of a SWAT force in america.
Answer Mr. Adair,
Thanks for the question.
You may want to check with the United States Department of State, but I believe you are required to be a U.S. Citizen to become a police officer.
Sorry I can't help you any more than I did, but I know that several states that are around where I live require citizenship, not sure about the rest.
