am  applying to become a  state Trooper and was wondering on the  questionaire they asked me if i eer hit or  pushed  or  kicked anyone and i said  yes  i pushed my boyfriend once during a  fight after he pushed me  does that mean  I will be  disqualified  for the  postion of state trooper it was a little  argument we had but i wanted to be truthful on the  answers that I gave

Answer
Debra,

Depending on how they are evaluating you, they could disqualify you for just about anything. However, they might be checking to see if you are apt to handle yourself, or they might be checking to see what kind of responses they receive and how people respond to that type of question.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Good luck and best wishes!
