Question
my son was giving a pardon by the state of pennsylvania for a misdemeanor weapons violation can he still be eligible for hire as a police officer. Also, will the fact that my son has obtained a 4 year collge degree in criminal justice and is currently in the navy reserve help his chances.

I don't see any reason why he couldn't unless the state of Pennsylvania has something in their state statutes that prohibit it.
A college degree as well as military service can only stand to increase his chances of being employed.
