Question
Hello i'm a current US Army soldier and im forward deployed in iraq serving a 15 month deployment.  I will be redeploying soon and I will have 8 months left in the service.  I want to become a US Marshal and go to school part time because of the free G.I. bill.  I want to know if there is a chance that I can still get into the Marshal's with having military experience but no schooling?  I have a secret security clearance also so will that help or do i need a 4 year degree also.  thanks

I can not tell you want the US Marshals policy is for hiring, I know after serving 6 years in the Military I applied and was hired on the Police Department with no college, however, times have changed and it is important for your career to get as much education as possible.

Contact the US Marshal's officer and inquire from them what their requirements are for the hiring process.
