Question
If a more experienced officer were to supervisive two younger officers on patrol what might be the ages of the supervising officer and the others? What might be the supervisors duties?

The ages would be mid 30's to 40's for supervisor and in the 20's for younger officers.

When you ask what the supervisors duties would be, he would supervise them. That is an open ended question. He would ensure they do their jobs correctly and ensure the unit performs up to standards.
