I would like to become an animal control officer in North Fla.  Any help would be appreciated.

I am not real sure of all the duties or requirements of an Animal Control Officer, however, call this number: 843-846-3904. This number is for the Beaufort, South Carolina, Animal Control Office.

The employees there are certified law enforcement officers for the State of South Carolina, and they are assigned to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office. Their primary duties are animal control.
