AnswerHello Jojji,
Sweden huh....my wife's people are from Sweden.
On your question, I think you will need to contact the U.S. INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service)in terms of work status rules, education rules etc.
Why not look into criminal justice fields in Sweden? There must be law enforcement opportunities there.
They may not call it SWAT, but most agencies in the industrialized countries have units that are skilled in SWAT type duties.
Or, some places yield such operations to a military responsibility.
My counsel for you, is to focus on the entry level positions, as that is where you'll need to distinguish yourself, in order to have a shot at a specialized assignment.
After training and probationary period requirements have been met, is when you will most likely have an opportunity for competing for a specialized assignment.
During the entry level process, you'll be an "insider" and have access to what skill sets are desired for the agency special ops you seek.
Hope this is helpful.
