Question
I had a misdemeanor a year agofor resisting officer without violence ,but It was dropped,I was not convicted I would liketo know if that can stop me from me from getting accepted into the police academy,I am 23 now, that happened when I was 22 in the state of Florida.thank u verry much

Answer
Junior:

You'll have to disclose the information that lead to the arrest.  Since it's so soon in your background I'd say it's going to be an issue that is going to be looked at very, very closely, and may not make you the most desirable candidate at this time.  With just the information you've provided I'd say for now it's going to likely be a problem for most agencies.
