Question
Hi Mr Grabill, I have been reading your posts with interest and have noticed that you have had a few from UK Citizens. First my apologies if I have written to you before, I don't have a record of it. Anyhow I am also a police officer in the UK, hoping to make the move over to the US. You stated in a previous question that it is possible it has been done before. Do you have any information regarding this, also the question from Daniel who is wanting to move to Florida. do you know of any outcome on that. any information would be appreciated.the stumbling block is the Citizenship,
Many Thanks

Answer
Tony:

No, sadly all I do is answer the questions, its very rare for me to ever hear of the outcomes.  I know that it's quite possible to do, you just have to immigrate, and obtain a work permit for the US at minimum.  Some states do require you to become a naturalized citizen, others do not.  FLorida appears to be one of the more lenient ones.
