Question
I will be turning 38 years old in February 2010.  I have always thought of a career in Law Enforcement.  More like a passion.  I just never had the opportunity.  Do you think it is to late to start a career in Law Enforcement with my age?

Answer
Jeff,

No I don't think it's too late. I have friends that I worked with that were over 40 when they started. A lot of Departments have an age restriction of 35. However once you turn 40 it's against the law to discriminate. There are many departments that do not have that restriction. Go for it.
