Question
i was told that a few police departments in florida would hire a felon that had there record expunged(sealed)  was wondering if you tell me if that is true  and if so could you tell me which departments they are

Answer
Keith,

In Florida each Sheriff has different regulations on hiring procedures. I know for example in Lee County the Sheriff has very strict regulations on hiring. My only suggestion would be to check the area that your interested in and call the individual Departments in that area to ask what their regulations are. If I'm not mistaken the Sheriff of each county has the right to waive some regulations. But like I said I know here in Lee County the Sheriff is very strict on hiring. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
