hello and thanks for the help . I am a u.s marine and i have been in for 3 years with two deployments to iraq . i am wondering where to go from here on how to become a police officer .

Start looking in places you'd like to live for the local police departments and when they are testing. Begin taking test and going through the selection process. It can take some people several tries at different police departments to finally get hired. Take test, and get as far as you can in the processes to gain experience.

I have 27 years total Law Enforcement experience in a wide range of areas. I have worked as a Detective and a Patrolman and have made well over 2,000 arrests in my career.
