Question
Hello my name is Victor Guerrero, a father of three lovely children and married for the last 10 years. Since the day I came to this wonderful country as a chill, I have always wanted to be serviceable to this country. Plus I naturally have the spirit of serving in me.  I Was wondering what it takes to be a police-officer and if it is not too hard or too late of a career for a 30 year old man? On the other hand, my family is my priority and there for their support is crucial to me. At this point, my lovely wife is convinced considering this carrier being the most dangerous on earth. There for she feels that this career may not be appropriate for me now that we have family. What would you respond to that? Thank you

Answer
Victor,

Being a Police Officer is very dangerous at times. However in my opinion there is no more rewarding and exciting career out there. If I had to do it againg I would. 99% of Police work is your mouth. You can talk your way out of most bad situations. And no 30 is not to old at all.

Good Luck

Jim
