Question
Can you tell me where I could find information on demographic/religious affiliation breakdowns in federal law enforcement?  Is there regional information available?  If not then perhaps you could recommend an expert in the area of federal law enforcement/DHS?

Hi Mark,

Well I wish I could help you but we are not allowed to ask a police officer or federal officer for that matter, his/her religion during any process. So the information you ask is not available.

That type of information would serve only one purpose that that would be to possibly discriminate against a certain religion or group. And that is just the opposite of what we stand for.

I do know that in my small department alone there are Christians, Muslim, Atheist and others. I only know that from talking to them.

The religious demographics of law enforcement would have to be an informal source. Sorry I can not help you, but to my knowledge, that information is not available.

I am a 30+ year veteran police officer, I am currently the Police Academy Commander of an Academy in North FLorida. I have been training police officers since 1993 and have trained them in all aspects of law enforcement, including firearms, Driving and legal subjects including patrol techniques and others and training all over the world. I have trained over 5000 officers worldwide in the last 16 years of training.
