Dear sir,
I would like to ask you a few questions about how to become a police/SWAT team sniper. First of all I am 15 and starting to look at some careers I'm interested in. Ever since I was little, I have wanted to become a police officer but now that I have matured a little, I have realized I would like to take it to another level. I am in great physical condition. I play multiple sports and work out on a regular basis. But my main concern is my grades. I have not been keeping up my schoolwork for the past year and I'm worried that it will affect my chances of becoming a police officer/SWAT sniper. I basically would like to know the academic requirements for this career.

Adam, there is in most instances a basic requirement to be a cop in any major department these days...to have a college education...so, my basic suggestion to you is to get your stuff together and start paying attention to your studies...becoming a swat officer is something within reach once you become a sworn member...just let it be know that it is your goal on the department and it will happen.
