Hello:
In one part of my story, the killer will meet a woman at a bar and later kill her. I have my PI hero use someone as bait with him nearby. I will have the bait and PI go to various bars since he suspects the killer frequents bars in the area.
I know killers go to the scene of the crime, but would it be realistic to have the bait go to the same bar where the killer picked up the previous victim, expecting he might return? Would he be nervous about being spotted?

Are you saying that "killers" return to the scene of their crimes?  Maybe in the movies they do but not in real life.  If victims are being picked up from BARS (plural) then it would make sense for the bait person to go other bars but certainly not the same bar.

Young people should not rely on the Internet for interviews. Local police officers are normally very agreeable to assist students with interviews and surveys.

Graduate of the University of Maryland.B.S. in Law Enforcement.Attended numerous schools and training courses involving investigations, interviewing, interrogations, crime detection, domestic violence, and others. Recognized in court as an expert witness.

Received numerous awards during my police career for expert investigations. Handled the most sensitive and confidential investigations. In 1999 I won an award for my work with high school students while working in my new career in a large suburban high school.
