My ideas on which division of law enforcement to join are still undecided, but I have a certain want to join the K9 unit. Does the K9 unit break into different fields? Also, I've heard that your 'partner' also becomes your pet, is that true?

Tyler, K9 units actually do seperate into differing sub divisions. They include narcotics, explosives, violent crimes division, cold case squad and arson investigations. They are spread out into the specialty they are trained for. As  for partners, yes, they stay with you and rather say a pet, I consider them as part of the family!
