Hi im 17 and i really want to go into law enforcement but i have a couple things on my record how bad will that affect me going into law enforcement. Im going to start criminal justice when i turn 18 and also i was wondering after i finish the two years whats everything they expect you to do to become a police officer and hopefully swat.

Ben, it will be up to the agency you apply with. Do to the current state of the economy, squeaky clean is prefered. However, due to your trouble as a juvenile it may be over looked. Stay clean and prove to them you are a fine upstanding citizen.
