Question
A pleasant day to you sir! I am a newly licensed criminologist in Philippines. I am looking forward to serve any Foreign Law Enforcement Agencies in Western Countries.

I am currently working as police beat reporter of a daily English newspaper in Davao City(southern part of Mindanao, Philippines)the Mindanao Times, working for about 4 years. I have also experienced 2-year police beat reporter of a local radio station here, the Radio Ukay.

I also practiced computer programming sir, can drive two to ten-wheeled vehicles and able to speak and understand five different local languages here and two foreign, the English and and a little bit of Chinese.

Sir, I will be very grateful if you could help find a list or just a job opportunity that does not require its country's citizenship during application. Sir, any government-owned agency will do, private detective agencies, a security firm of a private company, work regarding forensic.

Thank your in advance sir..
More power and Godbless!

Answer
Guy:

Very impressive resume!   Alas, my only knowledge is of the US, and here you need a 'work permit' (also known as a 'Green card') to be employed by any agency or department, including security.

You might consider some of the bigger US papers, such as the NYT, WaPo, LA Times, etc, who are always looking, as I understand it, for quality journalists with experience such as you have.    It may take some time but once they employ you, you might be able to get to the US through one of them, and then you can apply to various US law enforcement agencies.

I wish I could be of more help but that's about the extent of what I know I'm afraid.
