Question
I'm about to take the POST exam tomorrow morning at 9am for the Secret Service. I'm not sure if a calculator is allowed but I don't think it is. Also what should I expect on this exam. And what are my chances of passing if I'm not good at math and test taking has always been a challenge for me since I have a learning disability.

Answer
James:

I'll be honest...if you have a learning disability and aren't good at test taking, even if you pass, the Academy is nothing but test taking.   Lots and lots of tests.   Every academy  I've ever been through, we had, sometimes, a test a week.   What I'm trying to say is that you have much to overcome.

Not sure how much math is on it either, but take a calculator anyway just in case.  Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Best of luck

Jason
