Question
If I have a Felony conviction is this disqualification to becoming a police officer?

Answer
Jason...
Probably...as beside the felony, the conviction, it also highlights issues of character, which a hiring agency has to embrace.
There are felonies, and there are FELONIES.

Do an honest assessment....how old were you when this occurred, how old are you now....property crime, crime of violence....attendant civil litigation?

Take a good long look at it all, and you will likely come to a realistic conclusion.

If it was long ago, and a lesser offense, a Governor's pardon is a consideration.....

Also, look at possible regulatory job requirements..
Good Luck,
loren
