QUESTION: If my family has a bad reputation and bad records will that be bad for me?

Answer
Austin,

I know of no reason why a person's employment should have anything to do with family background.  The person applying for a position is usually the total focus.  There are federal jobs that require a top secret clearance and family history's are checked, but even then the focus is on the candidate.
